1. Information We Collect

To provide our local business management and marketing services, we collect the following types of data:

A. Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and business details provided during registration or invoicing.
  • Business Content: Images, menus, post captions, and other marketing materials you upload to our system for distribution.

B. Information from Third-Party APIs (Social Media)

When you connect your social media accounts (Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) to LocalEnhance, we access information via their APIs. This includes:

  • Profile Data: Business name, avatar/logo, and account IDs.
  • Analytics Data: Impressions, clicks, and engagement metrics (where permitted by the platform).
  • Access Tokens: Secure credentials that allow our software to post content on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide the LocalEnhance services you have requested:

  1. Service Provision: To schedule and publish posts, manage channel inventory, and update business listings across multiple platforms simultaneously.
  2. Automation: To process data through our software (including Telegram bot interactions and proprietary algorithms) to automate your marketing workflows.
  3. Communication: To send you invoices, service updates, or security alerts.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Platform Terms (API Disclosures)

Our service interacts with third-party platforms. By using these integrations, you acknowledge that your data is also subject to their respective privacy policies.

A. Google API Services (Limited Use Disclosure)

LocalEnhance's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • What we access: We access your Google Business Profile data (locations, reviews, posts) only to enable you to manage your presence from our dashboard.
  • No unauthorized sharing: We do not share your Google user data with AI models or third parties for advertising purposes.

B. Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

  • Data Usage: We use Meta APIs to publish content and retrieve engagement statistics for your connected pages.
  • Data Deletion: In compliance with Meta's Platform Terms, you may request the deletion of your Facebook/Instagram data stored on our servers at any time (see Section 5).

C. LinkedIn

  • Data Retention: We adhere to LinkedIn's retention policies. Authenticated member profile data is cached only as permitted (typically refreshed or deleted within specific timeframes as required by the LinkedIn API Terms).

D. X (Twitter)

  • Content Rights: Any content you post to X via LocalEnhance remains your property, but by posting, you grant X the standard license required by their User Agreement.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal and business data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

  • Active Accounts: We keep your data while your account is active to provide services.
  • Invoicing Data: We retain billing information (e.g., LocalEnhance, Tony Hildén, Reg: 6785011) for tax and accounting purposes as required by Philippine law.
  • API Data: Data fetched from third-party APIs is retained only as long as your connection is active and in compliance with the specific cache/storage limits of those providers.

5. Data Deletion Instructions (User Rights)

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data.

How to Request Deletion:

  1. Email: Send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  2. Verification: We may ask for proof of account ownership.
  3. Execution: Upon verification, we will remove your account and associated data from our servers within 30 days, except for data we are required to keep by law (e.g., tax records).

Revoking API Access: You can also stop us from accessing your data by removing the LocalEnhance app from your settings on the respective platforms (e.g., Google Security Settings, Facebook Business Integrations).

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including Google Workspace for internal data management and secure API protocols (OAuth 2.0), to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. However, our commitment to the Limited Use of your data and compliance with third-party API terms remains constant. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes.
